Shapes Drag and Drop

Here is how to make a drag and drop activity with H5P.

  1. Prepare an image with areas to drag text or images to. Here I’ve used Google Slides. Leave extra space at the side for the text starting positions.

2. Check that your image is the size you’d like your activity to be. In Google Slides you can change the size in Page Setup.

3. Download your image as a jpeg or png file.

4. In H5P, select Drag and Drop

5. Give it a name and upload your background image.

6. Set the task size to the same size as your image.

7. Next, click the Task tab.

8. Click Add Dropzone. Label the zone and select the opacity level. 0 means transparent and 100 means the dropzone will totally cover the background.

9. Select if each dropzone should contain one possible answer.

10. Drag the dropzone to the correct area, resize it as needed and add the rest of the drop zones.

11. Repeat for all drop zones.

12. Next, click Text and type the text.

13. Select all of the drop zones you want to be highlighted when this text is dragged. In this case, I want all of the drop zones to be highlighted.

14. Drag the text to its starting position and resize it as needed. Repeat for each text.

15. Next, go back and click edit on each dropzone and select which text is the correct answer.

16. Click Create and test it out.
